Top money-making business ideas to start for daily income

Parking service

I’ve faced plenty of times a situation where I ended up paying some money to the parking owners at different places like it’s a railway station, malls, markets, parks, and many other places too, I’ve seen that in many cities there are parking facilities under the bridges. So due to such conditions, I got this idea of starting a parking service.

There has been rapid growth in the number of vehicles for few years and it wouldn’t be stopped in the upcoming years as it is directly connected to the population, though the government had implemented odd-even law in the capital of India it hadn’t worked. That’s why as far as I know this business has great potential to make some good money with minimal investment and without much effort.

Generally, you can take charge based on 24 hours, places like the railway station or under a bridge where people normally leave their vehicles for more than one or two days. At malls or near the malls, temples, parks and tourist places, you can charge based on hourly as they’re not going to spend more than a few hours.

Generally, they take in between Rs. 40-80 but mostly it depends on the location where you own a plot. let’s consider you have decided to take Rs. 50 for each vehicle. Assume you are getting daily traffic of approx 400-500 cars on holidays and weekends.

Then daily income would be around 20k to 25k, here your one-time investment is a plot and I am sure no other investment could give you a better return than this plan. As far as your plot is near to the tourist place, let’s say around 1-2 km then people don’t mind paying for it unless their vehicle remains safe. Even there are some apps that show parking availability nearby, so it’s one great way to grab some more customers. You can also give it for marriage functions or to event planners which pays a very good amount in return.

Vault service

“Have you ever appeared for national level exams such as JEE, NEET, PMT or any government exams by traveling to other cities or states alone?” Due to less availability of centers for exams students needs to travel to other states for the exam.

I got this idea from one of my friends who went to give the NEET exam near my city. He told me that incident how people lost their valuable belongings due to unavailability of the vault and yes it is a fact that mostly examination centers wouldn’t provide you that service.

He had been told by security checker to wear out the watch he had worn, otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to appear for the exam. As he was empty-handed without bag he had to put it on campus premises and I don’t think it’s a good idea to leave precious things in that way and yes on that day many lost their valuable things. ( Who doesn’t want to steal some precious things no matter if it’s college or not) I came to know that as per rules for NEET exams you’re not allowed to bring things like watches, bags, and communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphone, Wallet, Handbag, Ornaments. Even earrings are not allowed inside so what girls will do in such a case, “where would they keep those stuff?”

So the business idea I got here is one can install a tent outside every examination center and charge some fees for keeping their belongings safe with us. I’m not going to calculate the money you can earn through this but you can calculate on your own.

You can take charge in between the range of Rs.30-100, for precious things like ornaments could take Rs. 80-100. By putting such vault all across India you can earn pretty good bucks in quick time.

This idea is for one who always procrastinates by saying I don’t have enough money to start a business.

Import/Export

Let me first start with the requirements you need to start this business:

One of the best things is with the help of laptop and internet connection you’re ready to jump into this business if you don’t want to store your goods or products and next thing you’ll be required is the registration of your firm, current account, PAN card, and import-export code.

Some of the import-export ideas:

If you go on AliExpress you’ll see ample of things at very cheap rates, there are watches, phone cases, screen guard and many more. All you’ve to do is find some good supplier for this stuff.

Let’s say you want to sell watches, suppose you got seller selling at price of $ 4-5, then all you’ve to do is order in bulk, let’s consider you’re ordering 1k pieces ( The more you buy the more discount or negotiation you get).

Now it’s time to sell at your place and which you could sell easily at a price of $ 15-20.

Calculation: for 1k pieces, you’ll spend $ 4k to 5k
Now let’s consider you are selling it at $15-20 which helps you to make $15k to 20k.

Here you’re getting ROI of around 73-75 %, isn’t it sounds good, huh?

I’m living in the city of the textile industry from where I got this idea. What you could do is, by buying raw fabric at a very cheap rate of Rs. 40-50 for one meter try to sell it to nearby states or else export it abroad.

Let’s assume you are buying a 5k meter of fabric at a cost of Rs. 250k ( considering you’re buying at Rs. 50 per meter) and you are getting Rs.150-170 by exporting it.

Calculation: purchase cost of Rs. 250k
By selling at Rs. 150 per meter you’ll get Rs. 750k, So your profit would be 500k. (some charges excluded)

Ps: Here I haven’t included custom duty if you’re exporting it abroad and some transportation costs in case you export it to the interstate.

There are a number of products to export just look around and see which products you’re getting from outside state because it’s not available in your state in that way find in which products you’re good (which things are famous in your area and can be export) and try to sell them to other states.

“Want to earn some extra money?” All you can do is give your hands in dry fruits selling a business. I personally know someone who is earning some easy case by doing this. Let me tell you one example: “What is the price of cashew nuts in your city?” Normally, range lies between 800-1500, it varies as quality change but in some Maharashtra (India) region you can get it for Rs. 300-400, if you personally visit the owner who produces cashew nuts.

Here, profit ranges from 2.5x to 3x. I haven’t described transportation cost and don’t forget to check prices for other dry fruits for your state and find out that particular city which has mass production of such.

Dropshipping

Since a couple of years, this industry has taken leaps and bounds across the world. The reason is you don’t need to have plenty of bucks in your pocket, $100 is enough for you to get into this.

Why you should start this?

One of the most prominent advantages is it doesn’t require any physical inventory, which means no inventory cost. Whenever a purchase is made through your store, you place an order with the third party who’ll handle the rest of the process for you. Moreover, you can run this from any corner of the world or by sitting at home.

Let’s start with steps you’d required to start:

Create a store:

I recommend you to use Shopify e-commerce website, where you can create your own store within a couple of hours. They will you give 14 days free trial and then takes charge $29/month and which is very low as you’re going to generate great revenue from this hence it’s worth to pay.

Choose niche:

Here niche is stood for specific thing i.e electronic products, apparel, sports, pets and so on. Find your interest and choose the product according to it. Everyone is selling clothing and electronics accessories, right? I recommend you to go something unique and trendy. In case you want to find hot selling products go on Google trends, enter the product name and you’ll see the chart about how it progressed since few years.

Find products:

AliExpress is the best platform where you can find products with very cheap rate try to find as many as the supplier so that one can find quality products with less money.

I personally know one who used to sell women face cleansing tool, who had bought it for $4 from AliExpress and sold it for $15. That’s how you’ve to be upgraded with latest such stuff so that you could make some decent amount within no time.

Now to make your products sell you’ve to do advertising. There are many ways which you can use some of them are free while some are paid. Different sites like Twitter, Quora, Pinterest, Facebook page, Instagram account are some free methods to drive traffic to your store. Influencer, Google ad, Facebook ads are some ways where you need to invest some money.

Let me tell you in some deep how you can use influencers to sell your products. For this find influencers (Instagram) who are relevant to your niche and always go for one who has more than 150k at least active followers and tell them to shoutout for your product for which they normally charge $50-$70.

Suppose you want to sell women face cleansing tool with a price of $15 and you pay $50 for shoutout, let’s assume influencer page has 150k followers and 80k people seeing your post from where you got around 5% conversation rate which would be 4k and from them 3% of people bought that product that is 120.

Now calculate the revenue: 120*15 = $1800

Net profit: (1800) – (3120) – (50) = $1390

Does it sound bad to earn $1390 in one day? It takes only a couple of hours to earn this.

To do advertising with Facebook ads you’ve to learn how to do it properly. In this method, you are targeting a specific group of people who are interested in your niche. You can find a relevant course on YouTube and some online educational sites like Udemy, Coursera, Khan Academy and many more. You can start advertising with just $5 per day and you can set as many ads as you wish. Though it requires some skills which you’re getting by flipping some educational sites, Google and YouTube.
